Orchard Hill is the place to be! The first review has come back for "Saving Gracie: An Orchard Hill Romance #1." The Long and Short of It reviews gave it four "books." You can read the review here. Scroll down to the January 20th review. (Please note that as you are scrolling down, you will pass great reviews for two more white rose books.)
Wednesday "Entertaining Angel," the second book in the Orchard Hill Romance series will be released. I had a lot of fun writing this one. Angel and Jeff are opposites that definitely attract! Artist Angel Marcell is on her own for the first time in her life. If only her brother would stop treating her like a child! He’s asked one of his college friends to watch over her while she’s in Orchard Hill visiting cousin Misty Green. Jeff Bradley is working day and night to make his real estate business a success. He doesn’t have time to entertain his friend’s little sister – no matter how cute she is when she blushes. Besides when she’s around, his life turns into chaos and he starts longing for things that aren’t compatible with his business plan. When Angel stands in for a Valentine’s Day date, will he change his mind about what he wants?
Finally, the best news of all! I've posted a free Orchard Hill story on my website. Please stop by and read the story of Riley's Valentine's proposal to Gracie. They say that the course of true love never runs smoothly. Riley can vouch for that as he deals with a Gracies' ex, his cousin's romantic ideas and a missing engagement ring in "A Long Silly Love Chase." You can read the story at my website.
As always, you can catch up on all the Orchard Hill news (or at least the gossip) at the Orchard Hill Highlights blog.
Thanks for reading!

Since, Through The Eyes of Love is the result of entering a contest that is what I’d like to talk about in this blog.
Writers, do you enter your work in contests? I don’t mean the ones who charge exorbitant fees for entry but the ones that charge ten dollars and under. The contest I wrote the first chapter and outline of my now published book was free and sponsored by a top romance publisher. Although, I didn’t win, place or show in the contest, I was still a winner. I had a good first chapter, the frame work of a novel, a cover letter and I met the deadline-all things a full time novelist does every day! Plus a contest is good way to work out of a writer’s block or to get out of your comfort zone. As you reflect on 2008’s writing goals, consider a low or no fee contest.
Readers, do you enter contests? Last year the White Roses In Bloom offered a chance to win free eBooks and all you had to do is leave a message on the blog. This has become the standard in the “writer’s blogging” world and it’s great way for you to be introduced to a new author or genre. So if you see a contest for a free book, leave a message and check back often to see if you’re a winner so you can claim your prize.
Contests are a win/win for authors and for readers!
Happy New Year!

A surge of adrenaline. A rush of endorphins. A buzz of excitement filtering through me that can only mean one thing…my first book is out! The e-book of Table for One has landed, and my life shall never be the same again! Okay, that might be a little dramatic, but this is the only day I will have a first release for the rest of my life, and if you saw me dancing right now you'd know I have a healthy dose of crazy!
If only I could bottle up all the laughs I had while writing this book, and pass them along to the readers. My heroine, Lucy Brocklehurst, is a confident, well-adjusted, fun-loving person—at least she was until I started writing her story and throwing darts at her love life. I had more fun putting her in socially awkward situations than any writer should be allowed, and I'd do it all again!
If you need a laugh or a little pick-me-up, Table for One is a fun place to start!
Back cover blurb:
Successful stockbroker Lucy Brocklehurst hasn't had a date in four years. In a town where the ratio of single women to men is 7:1, she's determined to wait on God for the perfect mate—as long as it's the hot new youth pastor at her church.
Lucy will do anything to get his attention, including volunteering for the youth group. Through a series of misadventures on the teen outings, Lucy finds herself falling in love with a kindhearted chaperone named Edgar Flowers. But when their relationship grows serious, Lucy discovers the lengths his recently-widowed mother will go to in order to keep them apart. What starts out as harmless interference turns into an all out tug of war, with Edgar as the prize!
Will Lucy crumble under the scrutiny of her would-be mother-in-law? Or can Lucy and Edgar's budding romance survive the schemes of his meddling mom?
Me here again:
I want to give a special thanks to Nicola for being so patient and kind as she walked me through my first book, and being a wonderful editor! Also, thanks to Kimberlee Mendoza for the beautiful cover! A book really is a team effort, and I believe we have all the best players right here in The Garden!

Web of Deceit is now available in print from The Wild Rose Press or Amazon.
Faith Callahan’s life is falling apart. Her husband is missing and presumed dead, returning to her childhood home doesn’t promise the peace and tranquility she craves for herself and her son, and her father’s hardware store is on the brink of bankruptcy. To top it all off, someone is watching her, breaking into her home and work, and making threatening phone calls. The only person she can trust besides God to help her is the man who was both her and her late husband’s best friend—the three amigos in high school.
And then there were two. Or were there? Sheriff’s deputy Adam Quinn needs to find out if his friend is dead, or just gone into hiding waiting to make contact with his wife. In order to find out so Adam can bring the suspected gun smuggler to justice, he needs to get close to his best friend’s widow—the only woman he’s ever loved. The deception grates on Adam’s spiritualism and soul as his heart falls for Faith all over again, but he has a duty to uphold the law and protect the town’s citizens.
When Faith and Adam meet again, their friendship rekindles on a deeper, more emotional level. Will Faith allow Adam back into her life after her disastrous first marriage full of lies and deceit? Will Adam risk his career to win the woman he loves? Will Faith and Adam put their complete trust in God and let Him guide them through these dangerous times?
PRINT ISBN 1-60154-115-5
It's a blessing to be able to share God's word and I hope that everyone who reads Web of Deceit will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Have a blessed day.

Since this group was initially formed to promote White Rose books/authors, please allow me to tell you about my TWRP releases!
The Inheritance is my debut single-title novel (I have a series under contract/published through Com Star Media—but that’s another post LOL!)
Anyway, The Inheritance is about the chance we all long for…the chance to start over. Widowed at age thirty-nine and suffering from empty nest syndrome, Rebecca Sinclair is overshadowed by grief and loneliness. Her husband has been deceased for a year, her oldest child has moved to New York in pursuit of an acting career and her youngest child is attending college in France. Having spent over half of her life as a wife and mother, she has no idea what God has in store for her now. Will an unexpected inheritance in the wine country of New York bring meaning and purpose to her life and give her the courage to love again?
US Postal worker Raymond Jacobey has been in love with the little widow since he first set eyes on her. A wanderer searching for the ever-illusive soul mate, Ray has never stayed in one place too long. Raised by self-centered, high-power executives, he’s longed for the idyllic life of residing in a cozy house in a small town with the love of his life. Will he gain the heart of the lovely widow or will he lose her to the wine country of New York? Find out in: The Inheritance By Pamela S Thibodeaux
Excerpt from The Inheritance:
Rebecca hung up the phone as her throat tightened and tears pricked her eyes. Emptiness closed in on the familiar sense of joy and pride in her children. Now what? Her heart cried out to God. What’s next? Jim and I were always so excited about this time in our lives. Now that he’s gone too, what am I going to do?
She’d always looked forward to turning forty, now forty seemed so old, too old to start over and yet, too young to give up. Burying her face in the pillow, she let the tears flow.
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Rebecca heard the words with rare clarity, as though Jesus were standing beside the bed. “That’s great, Lord. But are You really here? You aren’t standing by the bed where I can touch You. I can’t see your face or feel Your arms around me,” she muttered, burying her face in the pillow. “But, I won’t leave You and I won’t give up if You don’t leave me. No matter how hard it gets. That’s a promise,” she whispered.
Then she felt it: Peace. A soothing calmness washed over her as it had when Jim took her in his arms. Only this was different, deeper, and Rebecca knew the Lord was holding her.
Again the tears came, but this time they were tears of relief. “Thank you,” she whispered. “Oh, God, thank you.”
Burrowing deeper into the mattress, she drifted off to dream once more in the early morning hours. And dream she did. She was flying, not literally, but almost. She could feel the warm, fragrant air on her cheeks as the car made its way up the winding road. Lilacs bloomed; clusters of purple in shrubs so green it made her eyes hurt, and the smell. Oh. She took a deep breath and felt it clear down to her soul. The scents dark, rich and so full of flavor that she could almost taste it; grapes and flowers and....
“She left everything to you.”
The voice came out of nowhere, jerking Rebecca awake. She sat up, her heart thundering in her chest. She could still feel the warm air on her cheeks and smell the rich fragrances lingering in her mind. Running a shaky hand through her hair, she looked around. She was home, safe and sound in her bed. Relief poured through her. “Jesus, I must be losing my mind,” she muttered.
The Inheritance is available in Ebook & Print!
In my next post, I’ll give blurbs/excerpts of my short stories, Cathy’s Angel, Choices and A Hero for Jessica also from The Wild Rose Press!
Until later….take care, stay in touch, God Bless and remember….there are Angels among us and if you make the right Choices, God will set you apart for an Inheritance (and possibly even a Hero of your own!)
