Thankfulness

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year. I love looking back and counting my blessings. One of those blessings for me is to be able to write for White Rose Publishing. Nicola Martinez, our Editor-in-Chief, Personnel Director, Public Relations and Marketing gal has done a wonderful job since acquiring this new venture. She has brought a fresh breeze to this company.

One such way is how she's willing to try new things. I don't know if you've had the chance to visit Whiterosepublishing.com lately, but there are some beautiful gift sets now available...and just in time for those on your Christmas list. If your looking to give a special something--to a special someone--you won't want to miss out on this opportunity.

What is something that you're thankful for or someway that you've seen God at work in your life this year? We'd love to hear your comments!

I'm definitely thankful for WRP as well and all the friends I've made in the publishing world since beginning this venture--especially my cp. An answer from prayer.

I feel blessed to have found such a great group of believers to share with. While I am a published columnist, I have not yet published a book.
I was so grateful when I was told to submit my current WIP for consideration...when I complete my edits. IF that were the only good thing going on in my life, I would still feel blessed.
God is so good and he opens doors for us at just the right moment.
I became ill about 3 years ago with various "illnesses" and just this week I learned that my kidneys are showing signs of going into failure. Even after hearing this my DH told me. "Keep you head up because God is right here with us. Whatever you do, don't stop working on your book." I am blessed to have a husband of 30 years that understands why I spend hours in front of the computer writing and doing research.
I have faith that God will lead the doctors to decide the proper treatment.
Prayer and kind words from my friends help me put one foot in front of the other.
My WIP is my "baby" and I continue to work on it as God directs me. I have found that even during a trial in our lives we can find something to be thankful for. Being a Child of the King is the greatest gift of all.
Thank you White Rose Publishing for giving writers the opportunity to write and publish uplifting stories.

I'm very thankful for all of the Godly ladies I have met through this group. What a wonderful place to come and relax and enjoy fellowship with like believers. I am thankful for the many blessings God has brought into my life that they really are too numerous to mention. I just thank God for being the loving God He is!

Boy this is fun! Thanks to everyone who's left a comment so far!

Tina, it sounds like you have a real gem for a husband! I'm sorry you have to walk through this trial, but you're right--God is there with you. I'll be praying along side you that the doctors would know what the right treatment is.

Hope those edits go along smoothly for you. :) Happy writing & HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

JoAnn,
Thank you for posting this entry. The White Rose community is definitely very special to me. I am thankful for the many blessings I receive here - friendship, support, prayers, encouragement, and of course, this is where I found my excellent crit partner. I am also thankful for the White Rose editors, particularly Nicola, for their guidance and patience with me.

Beyond this, my blessings are too numerous to list and it's good to have someone remind me of that. Sometimes it's so easy for the bad to block our view of what's good in life, so that we "will not see prosperity when it comes." (Jer. 17:6)

May the Lord help us all keep our eyes open so we don't miss any of our blessings!
